Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation is a fantastic support group in Tucson and is a community-based organization in Southern Arizona which provides case management and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Additionally, they provide culturally appropriate prevention and educational programs which reduce the rate of infection. Lastly, they offer extensive training opportunities for community members to fill important support roles.
SAAF could not do this critical work without the support of our committed volunteers. They want to create volunteer experiences that are fulfilling, meaningful, and, most importantly, help the people we serve.

Opened in 1990, the Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce is still going strong and this advocacy group has some economic muscle. Beyond diversity training and advocacy, the GLBT Chamber of Commerce also hosts regular meetings and events designed to foster cooperation among the various GLBT and allied groups in Tucson and Southern Arizona.

Men’s Social Network – MSN is a wonderful not for profit social club of gay men in southern Arizona. Are you looking for a way to socialize outside the setting of bars or nightclubs? Then check out Men’s Social Network.
MSN engages many activities in both large and small group, so you’re sure to find something that fits you. Plus, you do not have to be an MSN member to try out and attend any of their events!
Of course new members are always welcome as well as past members who no longer have an active membership. Membership requirement: male oriented, gay, bi or straight (gay accepting).
Founded locally in March 1995 MSN has been continuously meeting since then as the Alternative Social Family for Tucson Gay Men (and our Straight and Bi Allies).
Current membership is over 100 members and are always happy to expand. 18+ is the only requirement.
Each month, MSN offers a variety of social activities for its members and during the year, participates in local LGBTQ events hosted by SAAF (Aids walk), PFLAG, Gay Pride, Southern Arizona Senior Pride, TIHAN, Reveille and Desert Voices and many of the community gay accepting religious organizations. We are always open to support and foster new activities. Bring us you ideas!
Men’s Social Network offers the chance for gay man to get together in an alcohol free setting to socialize, have fun and support each other!
Yearly dues are only $15.00 per person (a mere $1.25 per month.) Members receive a weekly email “More Scattered Notes” or other update notices plus an annual hard copy Membership Directory with periodic PDF updates, as well as an annual Membership Card and a periodic Membership Handbook.
MSN provides non alcoholic beverages, ice, party supplies and snacks at major MSN events. First, try us for a couple of our events in order to decide if we are the group you wish to belong with, complimentary.

Desert Voices was founded in 1988, and has since grown to become one of Arizona’s premier GLBTS choruses. We are a unique mix GLBTS people and straight allies with a commitment to fostering an ongoing and positive gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender presence in our community. Desert Voices is a proud member of GALA Choruses, American Choral Directors Association, and Chorus America. GALA Choruses is a world-wide collective of over 180 gay and lesbian choruses who empower LGBTQ communities around the world with inspirational song and demonstrations of unity. This commitment to larger causes is one the reasons Desert Voices events have such a feel-good atmosphere. Tucson Frontrunners is running/walking social club for LGBT people, their family and friends, and straight allies in the Tucson area.
Our main run/walk is every Saturday (8:00AM May-Oct, 9:00AM otherwise). We meet at Hi-Corbett Field parking lot. The distance of the run is about 3 miles. You can run/walk at your own pace and there are several water fountains along the route. About an hour after the run we head off for brunch.
We also participate in weekly “Meet me at Maynards” downtown fun run/walk every Monday at 5:30pm. Wednesdays we go to Tumamoc Hill at 5:00pm to run, walk, jog, or even crawl to the top and back down. The group sometimes goes to dinner afterwards.
In addition to our weekly runs, we do various social activities throughout the year (movies, dinners, outings, etc).

EON Youth is an extension of SAAF and works to strengthen the gay, lesbian, bisexual, two spirit, transgender, queer, questioning, inter sexed, and straight ally youth communities by creating social opportunities and providing information and support on health issues.
EON Youth advocates for youth rights and challenges society’s perceptions of youth as they face institutionalized oppression that target the many facets of their identities.
They have a special Eon Youth Lounge that offers a safe space for LGBT and strait-allied youth to hang out and receive the services they need. The lounge is a great outlet and resource for youth led activism, expression, and peer to peer support. Through long standing partnerships with Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF), CODAC, and our Family Services; we offer a wide range of comprehensive services to LGBTQ youth ages 13-23.
